MagnfiScience Travels participated in the event to celebrate International Day of Mathematics ‘24 on 8th March 2024 from 3 PM – 6:30 PM at AKU-IED. TDF’s exhibits conformed to this year’s theme of “Playing with Mathematics” which demonstrated the topics of basic shapes, fractions, a Soma Cube puzzle, some riddles suggesting combinatorial mathematics, arithmetic using an aiming game of Ring Toss, and more. MST entertained 150 community kids where the majority of children had never had the opportunity to attend school.

MagnifiScience Travels took part in the Artisan Market on 9th March 2024 at Dawood Public School from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. MST provided engaging exhibits of color wheel demonstration elucidating color blending principles. Children participated in hands-on activities, creating imaginative sand artworks and experimenting with painting techniques using a color cycle. Additionally, they explored the art of tie-dyeing by embellishing handkerchiefs and t-shirts with personalized designs and vibrant hues.
Approximately 1500 visitors including students and their parents interacted with our exhibits.

In Collaboration with Karachi Down Syndrome Programme

Participation of TDF MagnifiScience Travels in KDSP Carnival ‘24 to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on 28th of January 2024 from 3 PM to 9 PM at DHA Sports Club – Moin Khan Academy. The theme presented this year was “Behind The Scenes – Lights, Camera, Action” revealing the mysteries of filmmaking and the tricks behind the mind-blowing scenes of movies that leave you on the edge of your seat. Approximately 5000 visitors were entertained within the course of 6 hours.

In Collaboration with The KIVA School

The organization took part in the event to promote holistic well-being and fundraising for Palestine in a two-day event on January 13th and 14th, 2024 from 10 AM to 8 PM at The KIVA School. With our famous theme of “Animal Superpowers” which aims to make the kids learn about the unique abilities of various animals while identifying their own unique powers, we catered to approximately 1,000 attendees over the course of the event.

In Collaboration With Khwarizmi Science Society

TDF MagnifiScience Travels (MST) participated in Lahore Science Mela with the purpose of popularizing science and technology and encouraging young people to engage in scientific exploration. The event was held on October 28th-29th at Crescent Model School Boys Campus, Shadman, Lahore. With our famous theme of “Animal Superpowers” which highlights that everyone has a power that sets them apart and makes them special just like powers of animals. The exhibition attracted more than 7,000 visitors within two days.

TDF MST joined hands with Aga Khan University-Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED) to commemorate the International Day of Mathematics on 14th March 2023 to emphasize The event looked at the theme of ‘Mathematics for Everyone’ and how mathematics is not just confined to the classroom but rather connected with everyday life and embedded in all sorts of human experiences through arithmetic, logic, geometry, and statistics.

As part of The Dawood Foundation’s (TDF) mission to make science inclusive and accessible for differently abled and neuro-diverse persons, TDF MagnifiScience Travels (MST) organized an exhibition on 5th February 2023 at Moin Khan Academy. A brand new theme of “Animal Superpowers” was presented in which differently abled children explored and learned about the unique powers of different animal species and applied those to their own selves. The event catered to 5,000 visitors including many kids with Down Syndrome.

In Collaboration with LuckyOne Mall

Celebrated the dawn of the New Year with an extraordinary experience at LuckyOne Mall to bring joy to visitors through exhilarating games and captivating science shows! The event unfolded from December 29th to December 31st, 2023; 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM while allowing free entry to the visitors. They learned about physics, mathematics, honed their problem-solving skills, discovered the senses and reflexes of various animals while catering to more than 2,000 visitors.

TDF MagnifiScience Travels (MST) participated in Lahore Science Mela with the purpose of popularizing science and technology and encouraging young people to engage in scientific exploration held on 28 and 29 October 2023 at Divisional Public School, Lahore.

The exhibition of ‘Brainstorming’ was curated for the event to explain the way the human brain works, its anatomy, and function in relation to the formation of memories. The event catered to approximately 5,000 visitors.

TDF MagnifiScience Travels showcased interactive exhibits at the DPS Science Fair on Feb 29, 2020 at Dawood Public School, Karachi with the aim to spark curiosity and make science accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Our displays covered diverse science topics, offering entertaining and insightful learning experiences for students and visitors of all ages. The exhibition attracted 3100 visitors from Karachi and beyond.
