Our World, Our Creation focuses on engineering, design skills, and the urban landscape of Karachi.

Climate change is one of the major problems affecting Pakistan. Learn about the importance of maintaining a balance between the natural and manufactured world through the sustainable use of natural resources and minimizing the environmental degradation caused by human activities.

Cosmic Voyage – a thrilling celestial journey that awaits you. Prepare to embark on a ride that will take you beyond the bounds of Earth and into the depths of the cosmos.

Come and explore the wonders of the universe like never before. Dive into interactive Earth models, experience virtual planetary rotations, and uncover the secrets of lunar phases and Earth’s curvature. Then, embark on a captivating journey, zooming out from Earth to the farthest reaches of the cosmos, visiting our solar system, the Milky Way, distant galaxies, and neighboring suns.

Earth Rocks – a thrilling expedition into the heart of our planet’s geological wonders! Dive into the dynamic world of plate tectonics, discovering how the Earth’s crust shapes continents and landscapes. Explore the intriguing process of rock folding. Travel back over 540 million years to witness the incredible journey of Earth’s continents, from a single landmass to the diverse continents we know today. Get up close and personal with a dazzling array of rocks. Put your skills to the test in our interactive game. Experience the mesmerizing Rock Cycle, witness earthquakes on the Richter scale, and unearth the secrets of our extraordinary planet.

Woodland Walkway – your immersive journey into the lush, green world of forests! Here, you’ll venture deep into the heart of nature, discovering the vital role that forests play in our lives. As you walk along the pathway, prepare to be captivated by the rich tapestry of flora and dense foliage that defines a forest. But this exhibit is more than just a stroll among the trees. It’s an opportunity to unravel the secrets of forests and explore their ecological significance. Discover how these magnificent ecosystems provide essential habitats for a myriad of animals and offer livelihoods for countless human beings. Delve into the crucial roles forests play in safeguarding our watersheds, preventing soil erosion, and acting as nature’s climate warriors.

Registaan – The Desert Region – where we unravel the enigmatic beauty of these seemingly barren landscapes. Deserts, often misunderstood as lifeless expanses, are among Earth’s most vital biomes, holding fascinating mysteries. Did you know that deserts house 13 out of 15 mineral deposit types found on our planet? Pakistan boasts five distinctive deserts, each with its unique story. Explore the remarkable biodiversity of these arid regions, from exotic reptiles to vibrant birdlife, hardy cattle, and unique succulent plants. Beyond life’s tenacity, discover how desert sands play a pivotal role in carbon sequestration, rivaling even forests.

Ocean Odessey – We live on a blue planet, with oceans and seas covering more than 70 percent of the Earth’s surface. Oceans feed us, regulate our climate, and generate most of the oxygen we breathe.

However, our oceans are in trouble due to human activity. Every year, a huge amount of plastic trash, about 8 million tons, ends up in the oceans whereas Earth’s changing climate is harming coral reefs and other important ocean places. Almost 80% of the dirty water we produce goes into the oceans without being cleaned. The exhibition tells you how to take better care of our oceans to protect these amazing places and the benefits they give us.

Karachi: Urban Landscape How was Karachi transformed from a small, sleepy village to a teeming metropolis? In this section, discover the story of Karachi through the decades. Trace its evolution from ‘Kolachi jo Goth’ to the city under the British Raj to become a vibrant megacity of 20 million people. Through a timeline, interactive map, and documentaries, learn about the important landmarks and urban expansion of Karachi along with the diverse communities that inhabit it.

Imagineers’ Karkhana This section offers countless opportunities to develop engineering and design skills and allows visitors to think three-dimensionally, create physically, and work collaboratively. The section empowers its visitors to think outside the box to find solutions to real-life challenges.

The Balance We Break- The Balance We Break is an interactive exhibit that was developed with support from the British Council. It explores how Pakistan’s ecosystems are deeply connected and how small disruptions can lead to larger environmental breakdowns. Inspired by the logic of a Jenga tower, each block represents a species, habitat, or environmental factor such as forests, rivers, coasts, or food systems. Through hands-on games, digital simulations, and decision-based activities, visitors see how choices related to land use, climate, carbon, and consumption affect the stability of the whole system. By making complex climate ideas visual and tangible, the exhibit helps visitors understand balance, responsibility, and the real consequences of environmental change.

Lost Cities of the Indus Delta- Lost Cities of the Indus Delta brings to life the forgotten ports, forts, and settlements that once thrived along the shifting waterways of the Indus Delta. Developed in collaboration with the British Council and MaritimEA, the exhibit combines archaeological research with digital storytelling to explore how these cities lived, traded, and adapted to their environment. Visitors can engage with detailed 3D reconstructions and step into a VR experience that places them inside these vanished landscapes. By blending history with technology, the exhibit offers a deeper understanding of the region’s past and its lasting connection to water, climate, and human resilience.

Suleman’s Cubeverse-Suleman’s Cubeverse is a tribute to Suleman Dawood, who had a deep love for the Rubik’s Cube. He carried a Rubik’s Cube with him on his journey on the Titanic Submersible, intending to break a world record. In this exhibit, visitors step into a playful world of cubes where problem-solving, logic, and creativity come together. Through hands-on challenges, young minds are invited to explore patterns and shapes, learning how smart thinking builds strong foundations for life.
