The Dawood Foundation collaborated with The Consulate of Italy in Karachi to present “Space Girls Space Women: Space Through the Eyes of Women” on 4th December 2018, with interactive exhibits and sessions representing space voyages. Renowned Italian astrophysicist, Dr. Laura Patrizii, spoke to the girls and inspired them to reach for the stars. The event attracted more than 2000 students from various schools of Karachi.
The students from Khatoon-e-Pakistan also attended the event. The interactive session with the children gave them a new perspective about the galaxy and worlds beyond.
