STEAM Champ Summer Camp
The STEAM Champ Summer Camp at TDF’s MagnifiScience Centre provides a dynamic learning environment for children, where curious campers engage in a curriculum that promotes creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. The camp includes activities for various interests and skill levels, such as coding, robotics, and arts and crafts. Our camp provides a summer filled with inspiration and teamwork.
Junior Internship STEM Program
STEM mentors conduct specialized workshops/hands on sessions for junior interns, providing opportunities for hands-on experimentation and guiding them in turning their innovative ideas into tangible projects.
Junior Internship Science Fair
The Science Fair provided a dynamic platform for junior interns to showcase their STEAM-based projects, demonstrating both their technical skills and public speaking abilities. With over 24 STEAM projects on display, the event highlighted how these young minds are leveraging technology to address real-world challenges.
The Science Fair was a powerful testament to the interns’ dedication, imagination, and commitment to learning, proving that classroom knowledge can transform into real-world solutions when young people are empowered to explore, experiment, and express themselves.
Teachers’ Trainings
MSC’s STEM team develops exclusive training modules for teachers, designed to be replicated in practical STEM classes in schools. Jugaar Ghar is equipped with the necessary tools to help teachers learn directly from STEM expert.
OUTREACH PROGRAMMES
TDF’s Children’s Daycare - Science Shows
The STEM team designs special age-appropriate science experiments for children at TDF’s daycare, allowing kids to enjoy and enhance their curiosity while learning science.
Lucky One Mall Activation – Science Shows
The STEM team conducted nine science shows over three consecutive days in front of large audiences at LuckyOne Mall, leaving both kids and adults in awe of the amazing demonstrations.

Workshop for Underprivileged Girls – Donation
With a valuable donation from one of our visitors from USA, MSC’s STEM team conducted STEM workshop for underprivileged school girls in October 2023. During the workshop, the students had a blast learning various STEM concepts. They even had the opportunity to create colourful binary-coded bracelets by coding their names with different coloured beads. The girls also took part in an engaging design challenge using spaghetti and marshmallows, where they learned valuable lessons in teamwork and resource optimization to achieve outstanding results.
Sindh Education Foundation Science Shows
Ninety students from Sindh government schools, funded by the Sindh Education Foundation, participated in an engaging STEM workshop and science shows. The students were excited to experience science from a new perspective, enjoying hands-on activities and creating products using everyday materials.
COLLABORATIONS
Technovation Girls
Empowering the next generation of innovators, TDF's MagnifiScience Centre hosted Technovation Girls, inspiring young minds to become problem-solvers, leaders, and tech innovators. The session kicked off with orientation, idea development, and community mapping – equipping girls to create real-world solutions. A proud start to a journey of confidence, critical thinking, and purpose-driven innovation.
LEGO Robotics
In collaboration with Align STEM Club, MagnifiScience Centre hosted an inspiring LEGO Robotics Workshop that introduced children to the exciting world of innovation and discovery. Using LEGO WeDo 2.0 and Spike Prime kits, participants designed and built their own robots while learning the fundamentals of coding, logical thinking, and problem-solving.
Hairat Se Hunar Tak (Teacher Training)
TDF's Magnifice Science Centre, in collaboration with Science Fuse, recently hosted a transformative teacher training program. The training empowered educators to craft engaging learning experiences that seamlessly integrate science with arts, mathematics, and language. Equipped with bespoke tools and resources, teachers are now poised to inspire confidence in their students, making science an exciting, accessible adventure both in and out of the classroom.
Astroverse
Astroverse at MSC is a collaborative initiative between the Karachi Astronomers Society and MSC, aimed at raising awareness about Astronomy and Space Science among the people of Karachi. The event features observations of the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and even the Andromeda Galaxy. This engaging celebration of space enthusiasts includes a presentation and talk, followed by a Q&A session and observations through high-tech telescopes.
Goethe Institut - Science Film Festival
The Goethe-Institute Pakistan, in partnership with the Dawood Foundation in Karachi, hosted the Science Film Festival in Pakistan from 15 October till 20 December 2025. The festival featured films in recognition of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, promoting the restoration and conservation of ecosystems.
Over the course of eight weeks, 11,071 students watched selected films from around the world and Pakistan and also participated in hands-on science activities and experiments. The opening ceremony, which featured a film from Pakistan, was attended by 300 participants.
Rescue Rangers
A team of doctors and medical professionals from the AKUH Centre for Innovation in Medical Education conducted "Rescue Rangers: Junior Doctor Adventure," an immersive experience where participants learned lifesaving skills while playing the role of a first responder.
