Lahore Science Mela, 2022

In Collaboration With Khwarizmi Science Society TDF MagnifiScience Travels (MST) participated in Lahore Science Mela with the purpose of popularizing science and technology and encouraging young people to engage in scientific exploration held on 28 and 29 October 2023 at Divisional Public School, Lahore. The exhibition of ‘Brainstorming’ was curated for the event to explain the way the human brain works, its anatomy, and function in relation to the formation of memories. The event catered to approximately 5,000 visitors.

DPS Science Fair, 2020

In Collaboration With Dawood Public School TDF MagnifiScience Travels showcased interactive exhibits at the DPS Science Fair on Feb 29, 2020 at Dawood Public School, Karachi with the aim to spark curiosity and make science accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Our displays covered diverse science topics, offering entertaining and insightful learning experiences for students and visitors of all ages. The exhibition attracted 3100 visitors from Karachi and beyond.

The KDSP Carnival 2020

In Collaboration With Karachi Down Syndrome Program The Dawood Foundation (TDF) took part in KDSP Carnival 2020 to celebrate the contributions of people with Down Syndrome. The carnival was held on 16th February 2020 at DHA Sports Club – Moin Khan Cricket Academy. With the theme of “Sciencetruction” based on four thematic areas, the visitors were given a platform where they discovered the science behind sound and motion, speed and light and unleashed their engineering skills. 5,500 visitors attended the exhibition including students and adults.

CAP Family Carnival 2020

In Collaboration with Citizens Archive of Pakistan TDF MagnifiScience Travels joined the CAP Family Carnival 2020 at Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi in support of Citizens Archive of Pakistan’s vision on Feb 2, 2020. Our interactive show featured mesmerizing bubbles of various sizes and shapes, offering visitors an educational experience about the science behind these captivating creations. The footfall of the event was 700 visitors.

Shehr-E-Funn Children’s Festival 2019

In Collaboration With Pursukoon Karachi The spirit of learning and fun with The Dawood Foundation (TDF) at the Shehr-e-Funn Children’s Festival held on 28th & 29th September 2019, organized by Pursukoon Karachi at the Governor House. TDF’s engaging arena included “Safety Science: Hifazat Hai Fun” featuring three thematic areas: “Build your home”, “Deconstructing Hazards at Home” and “Science of Signs” providing children with valuable insights into both hidden and obvious hazards at home. The CAP Family Carnival, 2019

In Collaboration with Citizens Archive of Pakistan The Dawood Foundation (TDF) participated in the CAP Family Carnival 2019 with CAP’s core projects that include cultural and educational programming for low-income communities in Karachi and Lahore held on 27th January 2019 at Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi. TDF MagnifiScience Travel’s exhibits engaged children to explore interactive games along with a multitude of activities that cover everyday scientific principles and encourage them to put that knowledge to use. 2,500 visitors attended our stall in the carnival.

Space Girls Space Women: Space Through The Eyes Of Women, 2018

The Dawood Foundation collaborated with The Consulate of Italy in Karachi to present “Space Girls Space Women: Space Through the Eyes of Women” on 4th December 2018, with interactive exhibits and sessions representing space voyages. Renowned Italian astrophysicist, Dr. Laura Patrizii, spoke to the girls and inspired them to reach for the stars. The event attracted more than 2000 students from various schools of Karachi. The students from Khatoon-e-Pakistan also attended the event. The interactive session with the children gave them a new perspective about the galaxy and worlds beyond.

TDF MagnifiScience Thar Exhibition, 2018

In Collaboration with Thar Foundation TDF MagnifiScience Thar Exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Thar Foundation, Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company (SECMC), Engro Corporation and Engro Powergen Thar (Pvt.) Limited with the aim to encourage the quest for Science in everyone, especially students, by creating a learning space for people from all backgrounds, irrespective of age, gender or class. The event was held on 26th and 27th October 2018, free of charge for the public. 14,000 little enthusiasts from both government and private sectors explored interesting themes of Optical Illusions, Forces and Motion, Sound, Mind Games and Health.

Lahore Science Mela, 2018

Collaboration With Khwarizmi Science Society The Dawood Foundation participated in the Lahore Science Mela 2018, a two-day science fest organized by the Khwarizmi Science Society giving an opportunity to engage all citizens, especially the children, in celebrating science on 27th & 28th January 2023 at Ali Institute of Education, Ferozepur Road, Lahore. TDF MagnifiScience used the theme of health to demonstrate scientific concepts at the mela. The event showcased inventions, discoveries, experiments, science models and artifacts received from all parts of Pakistan. 10,000 visitors were catered by TDF during the event.
